Hypnotherapy
This a tool I personally use every day to help me to wire in new positive beliefs and dismantle outdated, destructive ones. Not only does it work but it simultaneously helps to deeply relax the nervous system and from here....well ANYTHING is possible. As with both therapies we are working with the subconscious mind which studies suggest motivates 90-95% of our behaviour, thoughts and actions. Hypnotherapy is a wonderful tool for helping us to move through past hurts, stuck patterns and habits as we learn to better understand the reasons why certain issues exist in our lives. The process of connecting with those related emotions can shift the trajectory of our lives as it provides missing key information that helps us to significantly deepen our self-compassion whilst heightening self-awareness. Like a code that is cracked this frees up psychic space to truly welcome in the new, new belief systems, new goals, mindsets and intentions. This is achieved largely through the process of repetition where you will receive your very own bespoke script that will reinforce your desired goals and help you to strengthen your natural gifts and talents.
The act of hypnosis is merely entry into a relaxed state where your conscious mind can rest and your subconscious mind can be accessed and influenced, always for your highest good. It's a wonderful way to re-programme your subconscious mind to work for you and not against you as all too often we harbour false beliefs that are in direct opposition to our very goals and wishes making the process of manifestation seem at times impossible.
Dramatherapy
One of the many wonderful Arts Therapies that draws upon the naturally healing qualities of drama and story making taking influences from Ritual Theatre to create a sacred space where worlds can be created and creativity can flow in abundance. Whether it be creating stories with objects, improvisation, devising plays, working with masks or anything in between, Dramatherapy most definitely has something for everyone regardless of skill or experience. Working with the subconscious mind through the creative act allows the emerging and exploration of exactly what the client needs in order to grow and expand in that moment. It always amazes me the effortlessness with which so much depth and richness can arise with the smallest act of self-expression.
Dramatherapy is a very non-threatening form of therapy that often works indirectly with issues through the use of metaphor that connect largely with the subconscious mind to bring about shifts over time in the conscious mind. The creative process is naturally therapeutic and brings balance to the nervous system helping clients to tap into their unique strengths and qualities as well as assisting them access aspects of self that long to be expressed in the interest of wholeness and healing. Underpinning Dramatherapy is the premise that we embody both light and dark aspects within our nature and that balance and acceptance is key well-being.
